Application For Tenancy
Thank you for your enquiry about Bingley Flower Fund Homes.
Please read these notes carefully before completing the application form.
Bingley Flower Fund Homes is a Charity funded by voluntary contribution and our prime intention is to provide good quality housing for people in need. To be eligible for a tenancy you should be over 60 and have either lived in the Bingley area or have family or other connections here.
At Manorfield we have a variety of properties, all self-contained with their own separate access, ranging from studio flats having a combined living room/bedroom, kitchen and bathroom or shower room, to one-bedroom flats and bungalows. At Lyndhurst all the flats offer one bedroom accommodation with a lounge, kitchen and bathroom. There is usually a waiting list of applicants, so we are not normally able to offer accommodation straight away and at Lyndhurst in particular, the waiting period can be quite lengthy.
It is important that the details you provide on your application, including your existing property, are accurately stated. A subsequent interview may be required at your present home when confirmation of these details may be required.
Should you wish to look around either of our schemes, or view one of our properties, please telephone the Warden on the appropriate telephone number as shown above.
We look forward to receiving your completed application form in due course. Acceptance of your application does not commit us to offering you a tenancy, but usually you will be placed on our waiting list. In some circumstances we may need to obtain a Doctor’s reference and you are asked to give your consent to this on the application form.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Please do not visit unless you have been invited by our lettings managers as part of an application process. Our Wardens do not manage the application process and they cannot allow access to any of the properties without prior arrangement.
