Bingley Flower Fund Homes
An independent charity which was established in 1962 for the purpose of providing homes for elderly people who are able to live independently. It is run by an entirely voluntary committee of Bingley people for the benefit of present or former residents of the town, surrounding villages and their families.
It receives no public funding and relies entirely on rental income and donations for financial support. Rents are deliberately kept at below market levels to retain affordability, yet reflecting the value added benefits received from a sheltered environment.
